Cole Northup Project

The Cole Northup Project, located in the township of Sheboygan in Sheboygan County, was created by a 15 acre drainage area being

cut off by a scrape and dike project.  The project was completed in the fall of 2005 and is shown here in the early spring of 2006.

Approximately two acres of wetland habitat were created by the project which was funded by the Wisconsin Waterfowl Association along with

 the Pigeon River Watershed Project and the Sheboygan County Conservation Association. 

A pair of geese are enjoying the newly created wetland habitat.
