Huiras Lake Project

The best we could ask for...This gentleman is setting up on the opening day of the first duck season on our restoration at Huiras Lake in Ozaukee County.  We built this project with our partners, the Ozaukee Washington Land Trust, Thompson and Associates, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and LMS Construction.

The Huiras Lake project was funded by the Wisconsin Waterfowl Association, the Waterfowl Stamp Fund and a Wisconsin Coastal Management grant. 

Whenever possible WWA focuses our efforts on those projects that will increase hunter opportunity such as the Huiras Lake Project.
