Robert Fox Family Farm Project

This site, located in the town of Meeme in Manitowoc County, consists of a small 1/2 acre basin and 5 acres of surrounding farm field.  Originally, the plan was to remove single tile line shown on the property deed and draining the basin.  However, this tile line was not found, and determined to actually not be present.  Instead, we dug a shallow scrape, shown above during construction in fall of 2003, and lined it with topsoil.

In Spring of 2004 the 5 acres of farmland were planted to prairie.  The result is shown above, approximately 1 1/2 years after the completion of the project, in this picture taken in mid-April of 2005.
