These efforts were lead by WWA volunteers from the Twin Rivers and Waukesha County chapters, which have partnered together to “adopt” this wildlife area, in conjunction with the WDNR program of the same name.  This was among the first efforts in this long-term arrangement, and the teams intend additional future works, upcoming.  To see the teams’ detailed report to the WDNR on their efforts, with lots of pictures, showing all the stuff they’ve pulled out of the marsh, click this link:  160423 Rome Pond Clean-Up
