Give the Gift of Education

Hi everybody, by the time this makes it to you, it will be December, duck season will be closed and regular season gun deer will be over. So, with the seasons winding down or over, what kind of educational topic can we put out there?

Waterfowl identification is a good one. Read those books and become more proficient at identifying your game. Learn more about your gear as you clean and sort, etc.

Now for the big one, the holiday season is upon us and one of the best gifts is the gift of education! Teach others, and yourself, and help WWA with our educational mission. How? Well, via a gift of an annual WWA membership, a membership renewal, a monetary donation, or support us via AmazonSmile!

A family volunteers for WWA by checking wood duck boxes.

Or, donate yourself! Volunteer on an AWA project work day or at a youth event. The Scouts love us, so if you or a family member is involved with the Scouts, how about some waterfowl/wetland outreach? Maybe build some nesting structures for spring deployment?

Since we are in the giving season, let’s consider giving education to all.

Thanks for reading, Happy Holidays and I hope to see many of you at the Christmas Bash on Thursday!
