Learn to Hunt Waterfowl with WWA’s Green Bay Chapter October 14-15

The WWA Green Bay Chapter has 3-4 openings for its upcoming Learn to Hunt Waterfowl program.

The program will be held Friday, October 14 and Saturday, October 15 at the Pittsfield Trap Club (3210 Brookside Dr. Pulaski, WI 54162)

Participants will receive several hours of classroom instruction and field shooting at the trap range (Friday evening), followed by a mentored hunt (early Saturday morning). You need to attend the Friday classroom portion to participate in the mentored hunt on Saturday.

Friday, October 14:

5:00 PM – Pizza dinner, classroom work, and field shooting

Saturday, October 15:

Early Morning: Mentored Hunt

Afternoon: Picnic lunch along with a demonstration on waterfowl cleaning/cooking ideas and care of your firearm.

No license is required except a Federal Waterfowl Stamp for age 16 & above.  Ammo is also provided, and firearms are available for those who need one.

If the program is filled, you will be put onto a waiting list for possible cancellations or eligible for the 2023 program.

This is the 14th year for this program with nearly 200 youth and adults having participated.  The program is put on free of charge by the GB Chapter.
