I want to thank all of you who attended any (or all?!) of our banquets in April, your support made these very successful events.  Thanks also goes out to the committees of our Waukesha, Between the Lakes and the South Suburban Chapters for hosting some great banquets.  We now have funds to restore numerous acres of wetlands in Wisconsin. Thank You for your contributions. If you would like to join these groups in helping to make these events even bigger and better please contact me.  We are looking to restart the chapter in the Racine/Kenosha area and we have a new committee going on the chapter in La Crosse that could use some additional help (their banquet is the 10th of this month), so please consider joining this committee and becoming a member of a group of volunteers who are helping to make Wisconsin a better place to live.  Thanks for your consideration.

It seems like spring has finally sprung, so check out the events page for our May happenings which feature several banquets and a Golf Outing.  These events are full of so many great prizes for you to win, including a $1 Raffle for a Sig Sauer “We the People” 45 ACP Pistol at the Twin Rivers Banquet on the 4th.  This is a Class A raffle so you need not be present to win. Be sure to also check out the tickets available for our 3-gun raffle being drawn at our May golf outing.  These raffles feature some awesome guns, so hurry and get your tickets before they get drawn or sell out.  We have had online winners this year, so join that joyful group and get your tickets now and check back monthly as more great raffles are to come.

We will be spending some time finding new items for our upcoming banquets.  If you have suggestions please contact me and let me know of your wishes.  Many of our raffles have sold out recently, which tells us that we have hit some home runs.  You will continue to see our Tanglefree and Tactacam raffles.  We will continue to showcase hunting and outdoor product raffles, besides having awesome firearms at our events.  We will also continue to have hunts and fishing trips.  I want to thank our sponsors Sherpers and A n J Charters in Port Clinton for helping to spice up the offerings this year.  Many of our events feature trips by local guides like A n J, .please consider supporting these guides and charters when planning a trip this summer.

Again, I’d like to take a little time to thank all of our committee volunteers for their efforts this past winter & spring banquet seasons so far.  A special shout out goes to Jimmy O & Dawn and their entire family, John Regan, Scott and Patti Bratz, Chad, Mike Alaimo, Joe Carrigan, Ron and Ann Churchill and Don Patzfahl.   I want to encourage all of our membership to give these individuals a big Thank You when you see them around town or one of our events.  And, one list time, please consider joining them.
