WWA Needs Our Volunteers’ Help

Have you wanted to be more involved in your WWA but don’t feel you have the free time to become a Board member? Well, here is your chance to be more active on a statewide committee without the month to month meeting routine. Part of our Board re-organization includes the establishment of several committees that will be responsible for important functions of the Organization. We are seeking volunteer help in staffing these committees and welcome your input and ideas.

We have established committees in Habitat, Education, Development, Communication/Membership and Policy.

Habitat will deal with our habitat improvement program which is the benchmark of WWA. Education will begin to develop more educational opportunities for youth and young adults. Communication/Membership will support and develop more communication opportunities through social media and other outlets and look to expand membership. Development will fine tune our fundraising events and processes . Policy will look at how we interface with our conservation partners and get the word out about how our membership feels about current issues.

Do you have ideas or comments in any of these areas?  You, our membership’s ideas and direction is important.

If any of these pique your interest, please contact Bruce Ross at (262-224-4949) or myself at (920-660-2773) or fill out our online volunteer form and indicate where you’d like to help and we’ll reach out to you.

We need your help in moving WWA to the next level so we can fully support all 3 legs of our conservation stool – Habitat, Education and Legislation.

Thanks for your continued support and I hope to see you at one of our upcoming events in July!

Have a happy and safe summer!
