Support WWA

FIL03118

Nearly “all things wild” need wetlands from ducks, to deer,  to northern pike. WWA supports wetland & waterfowl resources. NO ONE does more, at a grass roots level, for YOUR Wisconsin waterfowl & wetland resources than the Wisconsin Waterfowl Association. YOU can support WWA by becoming a member in our association.

From restoring wetlands here in our state, to sharing our traditions with a new generation of young people, to getting things done in Madison on behalf of sportsmen and women, WWA is there.  And perhaps better yet, ALL the money raised for WWA STAYS RIGHT HERE IN WISCONSIN!

WWA is proud to be good stewards of your donations, and the Better Business Bureau agrees, this year recognizing WWA for meeting the standards important to responsible non-profit management

There are many ways to support Wisconsin Waterfowl Association, read on below to find the right choice for you.

Make a Monthly Recurring/Sustaining Donation

Peterson Project 1

Support WWA for as little as $10 per month!

Make a recurring tax-deductible donation to the Wisconsin Waterfowl Association today to help support our mission of habitat, education and legislation – all of which stays right here in the state of Wisconsin. Your gift to WWA can multiplied—up to three times—in matching funds! All gifts are appreciated! Making a small monthly gift makes donating affordable for you and provides WWA with reliable funding throughout the year.

  • $20 a month can be leveraged to match with grants to yield an acre of restored wetlands critical to the Wisconsin breeding ducks that inhabit our fall skies.
  • Your $40 per month donation supports a learn-to-hunt program for up to 12 young adults to introduce them to waterfowling and the outdoor ethic it embodies
    • With every donation, WWA is able to continue to walk the halls of our state capital to ensure issues affecting the future of waterfowling are informed by our conviction that Wisconsin Waterfowlers bring far more to our communities than the ducks we harvest.

As a 501(c)(3) not for profit charitable organization, all donations made to WWA are deductible as permitted by law and all donors will be emailed a donation receipt for tax purposes when your card is processed each month. Find out more here.

Donate to the WWA Endowment Account

GGBCF LogoSupport WWA by making tax-deductible cash and non-cash donations to our Legacy Endowment Fund! In 2014 WWA’s Board of Directors voted to open an endowment fund with the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation (GGBCF), by setting aside Life Membership dollars that our membership has generously provided WWA over the years.  What is an endowment fund and how can this help WWA you ask? Well, this is essentially a restricted fund we have set aside to help sustain the long-term mission of WWA. Using the endowment investment model, WWA’s endowment fund will be able to provide our organization with annual support and to maintain purchasing power long term so that there is greater financial stability for us to maintain our mission.

How can you help? As with any fund, of course, the greater the balance, the more support WWA will receive annually from our optional distribution. Through the GGBCF, WWA can now accept your non-cash gifts, such as stock, real estate, mutual funds or life insurance. Additionally, donors may give cash or credit card donations through GGBCF and will receive all appropriate documentation for tax purposes.

You may also donate by check:

  1. Make your check out to GGBCF and mail to us at WWA, PO Box 427, Wales, WI 53183; or
  2. Make your check out to GGBCF and include a note designating your donation to Wisconsin Waterfowl Association, and mail it directly to GGBCF, 310 W. Walnut St., Suite 350, Green Bay, WI 54303.

Volunteer

2016 Fox River BanquetEverything WWA is able to accomplish in our habitat, education and legislation/regulation programs is directly related to our amazing community of volunteers.  While any help is appreciated, we especially need assistance with our chapter committees who assist staff in various outreach events and raise funds directly in their communities through fundraising banquets, shoots, golf outings, etc.  If you are interested in helping serve on one of our chapter committees, or starting a new committee in your area, please fill out our Volunteer Form.
