This Time He Really Means It

Tom receives his retirement decoy from Bruce Ross at the Christmas Bash December 5th, 2019

After 20 years with WWA, Tom Seibert is retiring (again, but only sort of).

As the WWA person most responsible for finding the funds that allow WWA to conduct its business on your behalf, Tom has been a critical piece of “The WWA Machine”.   Coordinating and supporting volunteer-lead events – that are the lifeblood of WWA – has always been critically important, but never more so than in the past six months.

We had an unexpected departure of his replacement, which was compounded by the coronavirus impacts on our fundraising.  Tom willingly stepped back into this fray after his first retirement in December last year, simply because he clearly saw the dire need.  But having helped us survive the initial challenges, he’s stepping back again just in time for the falls season – with our appreciation and blessing.   But Tom’ll continue to be a regular presence as a volunteer with the West Allis Chapter, and a part-time employee as WWA’s Class A Coordinator.  If you value WWA’s mission work, you should value Tom’s role in facilitating the fundraising efforts that has allowed us to perform those missions!   Thanks Tom and enjoy this retirement!!!
