This project is located along the Wolf River near the city of New London, WI in Outagamie County. The 20 acre basin seasonally floods when the river gets high enough and is also fed by a small ditch from upland areas during the dry periods.
The three existing 24″ culverts were causing the site to drain as the river dropped. The structures that were placed during construction will now allow the wetland basin to retain water during dry periods/years to provide good habitat.
